A Message from Jennifer re Man in the Music

I wanted to drop you a quick line to say that I am about halfway through Joseph Vogel's Man in the Music and am quite enjoying it. Because so much is already widely known about MJ's work and life, there is not always a lot of new material (at least in the first half), although it is great to see a comprehensive focus on his workmanship and artistry, with the over-the-top media coverage kept in perspective. I am looking forward to what Joseph says about MJ's later work and what criticism and appreciation he has compiled for this later time in MJ's life.

Tell us all about it, Jennifer. I STILL have to buy this book!  There is just not enough written about those later years with regards to the music. I find it really frustrating that most things MJ related stop at the BAD album and era. So much more to learn and listen to. So much more.
